Class Policies


How do I sign-up and pay for a class or club?

Our class fees pay our instructors and for the use of our facility. You may register in person, by mail, on the web, or by phone. We accept cash, check, Mastercard, Visa and Discover credit and debit cards.



Where do I find supplies for a class?

All class supply lists can be found through a link that says "Click Here for Supply List" for each class. We appreciate you purchasing your supplies for your class from us. Please ask if the class has made before purchasing your supplies. We will be happy to order any book or notion that you need for your class.



Are there classroom rules?

Classes are a special time for adults to learn or practice a special skill. Please be courteous to other students in the following ways: 

  • Make arrangements to leave children or any non-participants out of the classroom during the class.
  • Set cell phones on a silent or vibrate mode and step away from the classroom to take a call.
  • Help us keep our classrooms fragrance free for those who are sensitive.


What is your class refund policy?

Refunds will be given if you cancel seven days prior to class. If you do not cancel and you miss a class, a refund will not be given since we have counted on your participation to make the class. If the class is cancelled by Happiness Is ... Quilting!, we will give you a full refund. Early registration ensures that the class will have enough students to make. There are NO REFUNDS on Special Events including out-of-town instructors.



A group of friends and I would like to take a class together, but either can't attend the class as scheduled or don't see one available. Can you schedule a class for us?

Absolutely! If you have three or more people, we can schedule a class just for you. Call or email us at info@happinessisquilting.com with your request, and we will set something up for you and your group!



Do you offer private instruction?

Yes, we offer private lessons. Classes are $35 hour, minimum one hour sessions. All private lessons would be held at the shop with one of the staff. Call or email info@happinessisquilting.com to set something up.




Order & Shipping Policies


What is your return policy?

We believe in offering our customers the very best value, quality, and service.  We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you are dissatisfied with an item that you receive, please contact us. We will work with you to resolve any issues you might have with your order.

We do not accept returns.




How do you ship packages?

We use USPS flat rate shipping services for both domestic and international orders. We will ship your order in the most economical manner as possible. Our minimum shipping costs are:

  • Domestic / United States - $6.99 for flat rate envelope or small box
  • Domestic / United States - $13.99 for flat rate medium box
  • Domestic / United States - $18.99 for flat rate large box
  • International - $33.99 for flat rate envelope or small box
  • International - $75.00 for flat rate medium box
  • International - $95.99 for flat rate large box 



Block of the Month Policy


How do you charge your Block of the Month programs?

We will charge your credit card on the 15th of the month before the block is available until your BOM program concludes. This ensures that your kit is cut, and your block is ready for pick up at our shop or delivery on the 1st of the each month. For example, we would charge your card on the 15th of March for April's block, and that kit would be available for pickup or mailing on April 1st. If we are mailing your BOM, shipping will be added to your purchase each month.

We MUST have your credit card on file when you sign up for any of our Block of the Month programs.



What if I forget to pick up my blocks?

Space is at a premium in our shop, and we would prefer that you come visit us in the shop to pick up your kits and really, we like to visit and see our customers’ smiling faces, but if we have 3 months of your purchased kits on file and haven't heard from you, we will charge your credit card for shipping and handling and send the kits to you in the mail.



If I sign-up for a Block of the Month online, can I pick it up in the shop?

Please specify in the "COMMENTS" section when you place your order online that you will "pick up your kits." We will refund the shipping and handling charges and hold your kit for pick up. 

We will continue to charge your credit card each subsequent month until that specific BOM program ends. 

You do not need to order your block online each month after you have placed your initial online order.  Purchasing once online registers you in the Block of the Month program, and we will handle it from there.
