Quilt Aid 2011 – Whimsy and Wonder

Join in on a worldwide project with Happiness Is ... Quilting! and the
2011 Quilt Aid project – Whimsy and Wonder! Australian designers and
stores from USA, Europe and Australia are joining forces to raise funds
for the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia. A portion of funds from each block purchased will be
donated to Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital. Click here for additional information on this charitable endeavor.
Six shops in each region (USA, Australia, and Europe) offer two of
the 12 block kits. Purchase blocks from each
store's website in your region and then purchase
your favorite finishing kit from any of the participating stores across
the world. The Whimsy
and Wonder quilt features 12 inch pieced blocks with embroidery and
appliqué. This year's project will be made with the wonderful Ruby
fabric line by Bonnie and Camille from Moda and the beautiful Presencia
Perle #16 threads. Now, indulge your love of stitching by selecting the two adorable blocks our shop is offering, Block #1 and Block #10. In addition, our shop's finishing kit highlights the loveliness of each block to form a stunning quilt.
